About Hayes-Badgley Family Tree
You have reached my personal family history site. My primary interests are my Hayes and Badgley ancestors from Onondaga County, New York and vicinity. I also researching my wife's family. A complete list of names I am researching includes:
ALDEN, BADGLEY, BARLOW, BATES, BOGARDUS, BOOM, BRYANT, CARLSON, CARNEY, CHAPMAN, CLARKE, COLLINS, CUMMINGS, DITCH, DONAVAN, FISH, FLORING, FROST, GUION, HAIGHT, HAYES, HOYT, HYLANDER, KELSO, LEE, LITTLE, McCORMICK, McKENNA, MILLER, MULLINS, NOYES, OBERG, PABODIE, PIERPONT, ROSENBERG, RYDER, SEALANDER, SHERWOOD, ST. JOHN, STRAIT, WALSH, WELCH, WHITBREAD, WRIGHT

I am currently most interested in the Irish origins of my Hayes ancestory. Cornelius Hayes was born about 1815 in Ireland, and died after June 8, 1875. He was listed in the 1875 New York State census living with his son James F. Hayes. (birth and death dates conjectural based on this census record.) He married Margaret Donovan. She was born in Ireland, and probably died before June 1875. She was not listed in the 1875 census with her husband.

I am also seeking information on Elizabeth Ryder (1792-1862), married to Egbert Badgley (1789-1836). Looking for her birthplace (Ulster County but exact location unknown) and his military records (War of 1812).

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
